This grandiose, amazing mosque has been named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei, who initialized the construction to serve as a symbol of the Islamic faith in the country, and also to dominates the skyline of the capital city.

Satu jembatan menuju ke Kampung Anyer dan satunya menuju ke Mahligai Bahtera di tengah laguna.

Set amid its own lagoon, the mosque seems to be floating, surrounded by lush greenery and floral gardens, while its glittering dome, covered in real gold, soars above the skyline.

It is different from the mosques that I have been to before.
