When Ghidorah becomes the Titans' new alpha and begins using them to actively destroy the Earth, his main hurricane begins producing hundreds of offshoot super-cells, squall lines, tornadoes and thunderstorms which rapidly spread over the planet - Mark Russell notes that if these storms continue pelting the planet for even a matter of weeks, they could create a proto-volcanic winter which on its own would cause most life on the planet's surface to die off, while the storms and rainfall perpetually decimating and over-saturating ecosystems' terrains and over-saturating reefs would cause even quicker devastation.
