The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris went up in flames one year ago Wednesday, devastating one of the world's most remarkable places of worship.
The crypt Located under the Parvis medieval square de Notre-Dame de Paris, the crypt contains historical ruins discovered during construction work in 1965.
However, due to a huge fire in 2019, it got destroyed once again.

The Media Center at Columbia University created the 360-degree images and the panorama tour offering this virtual visit of the cathedral.
The Cathedral was at one time in a stage of total disrepair and close to the point of being demolished, but was later saved by Napoleon who himself was crowned Emperor in 1804 inside the Cathedral.
