Barricade transformers - MPM

Many of these adaptations were based on earlier drafts of the movie's script; in several, most prominently the novelization and comic adaptations, Barricade engages Optimus Prime on the highway after he takes out Bonecrusher and is destroyed as a result, explaining his disappearance from the film's final act.

In the first movie Barricade is last spotted during a highway chase sequence seemingly helping Bonecrusher engage in a battle against Autobot leader Optimus Prime only to vanish from the film and not return for its sequel.
